Padilla Speer Beardsley new business streak boosts 2008 revenues
MINNEAPOLIS (Sept. 9, 2008) - Padilla Speer Beardsley, an independent public relations consulting firm with offices in Minneapolis and New York, announced that the firm acquired a projected $3.2 million in new business during the first eight months of 2008, a 31 percent increase in new business revenue over the same period in 2007.
Revenues include additional assignments from current clients, as well as new clients that include Golden Valley, Minn.-based Pentair and Chicago-based Beam Global Spirits and Wine.

Beam Global Spirits and Wine, maker of Jim Beam Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and other brands, named Padilla agency of record for its Jim Beam brand. Padilla is developing a social media-oriented marketing communications program to promote the brand to Beam's target markets.
